The days are over when we could run DNS services locally on the same server where we hosted files, email, and databases and could expect every website to load perfectly.

What is the role of Global DNS?
The DNS service is a vital part of any web hosting service and without it, the web wouldn’t exist at all. Every time you type “neoxea.com” on your browser, your computer will ask the DNS where the website is hosted, and it will reply with the IP address where you should look the site.
They are responsible for resolving any domain like “google.com” into its IP address “216.58.209.78”.
When the DNS service is down, it fails to reply and your website will show as offline, despite the web server where the files are hosted being online. These affect not only your website visitors but email delivery on your domain too.
